On Sunday, taking a break from home renovations, I saw Explosions In the Sky at Hogg Auditorium. Highly recommended. There are still tickets available for the Minneapolis show later this month but, alas, the Bottleneck is sold out. Check out the review.

Excellent to have you back on the site. Sounds like EITS were excellent–playing to the hometown crowd in Austin. Not sure if we’ll make it to the March 29 show in Minneapolis–I’m teaching that weekend, for one. But good to have your thoroughly positive review…and the Austin Chronicle’s. Interesting to see the comparison–an apt one–to Sigur Ros.
