I thought I should mention that yesterday, down at the lake, we in fact took second place at the annual Boat Parade! Not a bad finish, considering we threw a bunch of schmaltzy Americana all over the boat and then the boat died in front of the judging area. I think we got the sympathy vote. But hey, a win is a win!
I hope you all had a good mid-week holiday.
Toby,
I’ve been listening to the Okkervil River tune of this list and enjoying it. Thanks for posting these tunes. It just takes me a while to listen through them.
I realized after reading the NY Times today that the title of Toby’s entry might seem to be referring to the Iraq bombing scene that killed at least 250 people, about which I am at a loss to comment on.
