Sorry, folks. new to posting photos. so far this is the only one i have been able to upload. you may have to hit 442 under recent posts to see it. These are mostly from the ice storm that came through here this week. if you have suggestions, feel free to let me know.

Hey Peters, I can only see one of these images. They are really too big to put on a website. Try reducing them to 700 pixels by 500 pixels or so. That will make them easy to view and and about 200 KB instead of the 3.2 MB they are now. Give me a call if you need some more help.

    Quit breaking the web site!

I performed some minor surgery on these posts but I had to delete some of the links because they wouldn’t load. I reduced the the rest to 500 x 374 pixels.

These are really great photos Petes. Thanks for sharing them.

    Peters,
Toby directed me to a download that lets you just drop a jpg right in there. It formats the lightbox pop-up and everything. It’s pretty easy. Maybe you would want to try that?

We had about 10 inches of snow last night. This photo was taken of the Lindsborg bridge at about 11:30 pm. The lighting is natural, no filters or tricks. This has not been altered with the sepia tone option, but is the way it pretty much looked at the time. The shutter was left open on a tripod for about 8 seconds. This is why you do not see the snow falling at the time. I used an 8.1 megapixel camera, which means I could blow this shot up to about 20″x30″ before it starts to look pixelized. Technology is pretty amazing. I like the digital stuff because you get instant feedback. This is about the 4th frame in the series. I hope you enjoy. jp

    Peters,
I am able to view all of the photos now – really nice.
I particularly enjoy the frozen berries.
Thanks for sharing, and good to see that you have time to dedicate to some aesthetic explorations.
