   I’ve struggled with this myself, the issue of how to talk to Beckett, let alone my unborn son, about Star Wars. I may attempt to simulate as closely as possibly my experience of the first three films–showing them the original Star Wars at roughly three and a half; then Empire Strikes Back at six and a half; then Return of the Jedi at nine and a half. The build-up was most of it, anyway. Maybe we’ll do something similar with The Lord of the Rings movies, and show them only at the holidays, over three years.
