   Thanks for the Salon link, and for putting up the great photo.

   I still stand by The Seventh Seal as just one of the greatest films–the imagistic brilliance, the emotional power, the religious and spiritual implications–all make me a little heart-weary and yet hopeful, even upon subsequent viewings. I need to see more of Bergman’s work.
