A sleeker version than last week's, but interesting how they both are confrontations with the self as a built or constructed thing. Interesting how Svankmajer seems to suggest we're self-created in some way, and then here with "Dollface," how we're created by television. In both cases, we're imprisoned or destroyed by what creates us. Oh, and FFFFIIIIRRRRRSSSST! Very great to have this post.
